Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to Magical Gladiators, including its browser-based game, related website, accounts, and content (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms and the linked Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Magical Gladiators. By registering or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. The Service is not intended for children.

You may be able to try parts of the Service as a guest. Certain features may require a player account. When creating an account, provide information that is accurate and within your authority to use, keep your login credentials private, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not impersonate another person or use someone else's account without authorisation.

We may restrict access to preserve security, prevent abuse, or comply with law. Account features, persistence, and identity options may change as development continues.

Magical Gladiators is a fantasy combat game with turn-based gameplay, random dice outcomes, magic items, non-player characters, and environmental effects. Playing may involve joining games, selecting characters, sharing match state with other players, and having performance recorded in game history or statistics.

The game's published rules and supported interfaces govern ordinary play. We may correct defects, rebalance characters, change mechanics, add content, or remove features as the game evolves. Match outcomes, game history, and statistics may be corrected when necessary to address technical failures, moderation, or errors.

Do not cheat, exploit vulnerabilities, falsify results, interfere with other players' games, manipulate accounts or automated systems, or use software to gain unauthorised access. Report security issues privately rather than exploiting them.

The game is intended for entertainment. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free outcomes, or that a particular player, character, event, feature, or statistic will remain available permanently.

Your display name, optional alias, game participation, combat outcomes, and other gameplay details may be visible to other participants and, where implemented, in leaderboards or community features. Choose names and messages appropriately. Avoid sharing private information in player names or shared game content.

Do not threaten, harass, bully, impersonate, discriminate against, or deliberately disrupt others. Do not upload or share unlawful content or material that infringes another person's rights. We may moderate, remove, or restrict content and accounts where necessary to enforce these rules or protect the community.

Magical Gladiators originated as a tabletop game developed by Ron, Jon, and Ian. The digital version is an ongoing adaptation. Game names, artwork, rules, code, designs, text, and other material belong to their respective rights holders, subject to applicable agreements and licences.

Unless we explicitly grant additional permission, you receive a personal, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service for lawful entertainment. Do not reproduce, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer in violation of applicable law, or commercially exploit our protected content without authorisation. This provision does not limit legal exceptions or rights granted under open-source or third-party licences.

Suggestions and feedback are welcome. Submitting feedback does not transfer ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property, but you grant us permission to evaluate and use voluntarily submitted ideas to improve the Service without an obligation to implement them or compensate you, subject to applicable law.

Subscribing to Tales from the Arena is optional and separate from creating a game account. If you opt in, Kajabi may send a confirmation email; you become a subscriber only after completing the required confirmation. Newsletter messages may include game updates, beginner advice, announcements, and fictional commentary from Blaze & Ash.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting arena@magicalgladiators.com. Declining or withdrawing newsletter consent does not prevent ordinary game access. Essential service or security messages may still be sent where appropriate.

These Terms do not establish paid game subscriptions, in-app purchases, or recurring charges. If paid services, tournaments, physical tabletop products, or digital goods are offered in future, additional purchase terms, prices, fulfilment details, refund rights, and applicable consumer protections will be disclosed before purchase.

We may modify, test, suspend, or discontinue features, or restrict game access for maintenance, technical, security, legal, or product reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of material changes that affect users.

The Service uses third-party services, including Firebase for authentication and application functions and Kajabi for the related site and newsletter. These services may have their own terms and policies. Links to external websites do not mean we control or endorse their content or privacy practices. Use third-party sites at your discretion.

The Service is supplied on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We work to make the game reliable, but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, fully secure, error-free, compatible with every device, or suitable for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator and its service providers will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service, including losses of game progress or inability to access the game. Any limitation must be interpreted consistently with mandatory consumer protections and other rights that cannot legally be excluded.

We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary for serious or repeated violations, suspected abuse, service security, or legal compliance. You may stop using the Service at any time and can contact us about account closure or personal-data requests. Removal of an account may not automatically remove information that must be retained for legal compliance, security, or game-integrity purposes.

Subject to mandatory consumer rights and any rules that must apply in your jurisdiction, these Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the applicable federal laws of Canada, as applicable to Rapid Success Coaching Inc. in Ontario.

If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in this section removes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

We may update these Terms when the game, services, or applicable law change. We will identify the updated version and give reasonable notice of material changes where appropriate. If a provision is unenforceable, the other provisions should remain effective to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not necessarily waive the right to enforce it later.
